WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE Once SAID…
Hundreds of years ago, William Shakespeare said that our destiny is not written in the stars, but in ourselves. I take that message to heart. I believe that my destiny, everyone’s destiny in fact, is unique and, although written in the stars, is embroidered with the talent with which we are gifted at birth. At the same time, it is dictated by our ambition and the vigorous fight to fulfil our dreams and desires. Only when you fight with everything you’ve got, you can reach the stars.
What I Have LEARNED
Time has taught me that the only constant in the universe is change. I’ve learned that my desires are constantly twisting and turning, like clouds on a windy day, like my body which does not stay young forever, like water, which at one temperature freezes only to melt at another.
With time I have learned that today’s truths can be tomorrow’s lies in the light of new discoveries, and most of all, that I am not who I was yesterday, nor even who I am today. I am who I want to become.
MY ROLE
As for my role in the universe, well, over time I’ve learned that my gifts work best when put to the service of others.
